y.a.p. (young adult program)

CJ's Journey noticed a need to support young adults, age 18-24, during their battle with childhood cancer. Many of these patients are considered too old to qualify for other organizations, but we at CJ's Journey feel they still require hope and support through their journey. In partnership with the Sarcoma Group at Washington University we have started the CJ's Journey Young Adult program. Every quarter these young adults, along with volunteers from CJ's Journey, meet to connect, build friendships and experience all life has to offer. We hope to provide art classes, game nights, movie nights, yoga classes and much more. This program was created because there was a request; they asked, we answered. This is exactly what these young adults need and want in their lives while facing this journey. The Young Adult Program is open to any cancer patient age 18-24 who is currently in treatment.
