To provide hope to and assist children, young adults and their families during their childhood cancer journey; to raise funding for childhood cancer research; and to raise awareness and educate the public about childhood cancer.

CJ's Journey Foundation is committed to raising awareness of childhood cancer and the lack of funding provided by the government. Each year 13,500 children and young adults are diagnosed with childhood cancer. One out of five of those children will die of cancer and three out of five children that survive, will suffer from life altering long-term side effects.
Many people are not aware that the Gold Ribbon is the symbol of Childhood Cancer Awareness and that September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. CJ's Journey works diligently during the month of September to spread awareness by distributing Childhood Cancer Awareness yard signs, gold ribbons to be worn by advocates and luminaries to honor those that have lost the battle with childhood cancer and those still fighting this destructive disease.
Childhood cancer claims the lives of more children and young adults each year than all other childhood diseases combined. Yet, there is a lack of funding in finding cures, medicines and providing assistance. We are promising our children a life of chemotherapy, radiation, surgeries, medication and emotional distress if we do not speak out about this deadly disease. The effects of childhood cancer are heart breaking, but the lack of support and awareness is equally as devastating.
CJ's Journey realizes there is a blurred truth about the reality of childhood cancer and works to not only spread hope, but also awareness to those not yet directly affected.

In 2011, CJ's Journey created a video to help show the full story of C.J. Aubuchon and the reason the foundation was created. The video also provides the ability to spread the much needed awareness about Childhood Cancer and the lack of funding for research. We ask that you take a few minutes to watch the video to below and share it with as many friends and family members as possible. Thank you for your continued support!
